A different mixed-use

Residential/Retail, Res./Retail/Office, Office/Retail. What about creating new blends of commercial spaces that result in new kinds of mixed-use developments for people to interact and conduct business? How about a place that allows for healthy and social activities to have a profitable business model? Is that only an entertainment venue? What about hubs of commerce, like a farmer's market, or health club/recreation facility or a Kinko's that allows the individual to pursue their personal benefit while contributing to the larger entity. What other spaces can be created by mixing different users and commercial categories?
