A wise investor once said "I don't like to invest in what I can't control." That can be good for an investor that is very hands on and likes to be big a big fish. It also might be a truism for
TIC investments but the smaller fish in big pond does have its advantages of safety in numbers.
While Adam tends on his own school of fish, the entries may be spread over the summer....
Maybe this is how we get crosstown paid for?
Private equity making a buck can have a social benefit.
If we had to pay to use the roads, maybe they would be in better shape? Is
public infrastructure the next frontier for real estate investment? ( nreionline.com)
What about mitigation banks?(choicesmagazine.org) Maybe this is the way to environmental preservation and saving the small farm?
Maybe these are not market alternatives yet and are complicated social and economic issues but if investments are chasing commercial assets and the assets are continuing to be squeezed for return, then people go looking to create other assets.
